The purchase of our new home was 16 years in the making. And yes, that’s a very long time to hang onto the wish of being able to raise our family in the area that we were raised as kids. Growing up in Bergen County, we had the advantage of knowing the areas that we would absolutely want to live and quickly narrowed it down to one specific town – which obviously made it more challenging for the agent we were working with!
